What subjects does MelioPrep cover?
Every middle and high school academic subject, including AP courses, plus SAT, SHSAT, and Hunter prep (the Hunter College High School entrance exam). The flat $60/hour rate is the same across all of them.
Who will tutor my child?
A college student with recent, firsthand experience in the relevant class or exam. Every tutor is personally interviewed, reference-checked, and background-checked first.
Where do sessions happen?
Privately, one-on-one over Zoom, at times planned around your family’s availability.
What if the tutor isn’t the right fit?
If the first session isn’t a fit, it’s free. MelioPrep will also rematch your student with a different tutor at no charge.

Reaching the target grade or score is the priority, and we’ll try our hardest to get there. We keep the plan current and adjust sessions and materials as the year moves.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
We read each signup personally and reply within 48 hours. This first group stays deliberately small so matching, planning, and family support stay hands-on.
